To enter your query, you have three options, which you will find in the search menu:
map, position, countries.
Entering the position by clicking on the map is the easiest way, but may be unexact. To be more precise, enter the position directly. Or you can choose a country from the country list and then you can choose a location within our registered marina database by checking a select box.
If you have a result from your search you will find above every marina entry its position as a link.
If you click on this link, a new search with this position is started; all shown distances are then related to the chosen marina position. So you can plan a sailing course very easily.
Every marina in the result list is shown with two different links that will lead you to the marina. The yellow link is different from the link in bold blue letters in that it will open a new popup window with the website of the marina. This way you can avoid waiting for reloading of the resulting page, if you have left the marina´s website.
Every search result will show you exactly 100 marinas on 10 different pages. You can navigate between the pages by clicking on the links to other pages on the footer of every resulting page.
As far as we are able to show accurate geographical positions the coordinates of a marina will mark the entrance coming from the water side. Please take notice of the fact that all distances shown on any page are linear distances, distances by boat may be much longer.
