Who is rating marinas?
Marinamap.com asks registered visitors for the rating of marinas. Any visitor can register with marinamap.com.
On what criteria are the marinas rated?
The marina rating includes eight different criteria which are of special importance to yacht sailors. The rating is based on individual personal opinions of marinamap's registered visitors. The aggregate rating value for each criteria of a marina is the average of all ratings posted to marinamap.com. The visitor requirements for the marina ratings are displayed literally on the page with the detailed rating results. [-> Example...]
Is the rating impartial?
The rating is neither impartial, nor scientifically accurate. It is just reflecting the personal opinion of a certain number of marinamap's visitors.
