Marina Isla Canela is the new Marina situated in the middle of Costa de la Luz, Algarve and Guadiana river, and more precisely, inside the Isla Canela resort.

It is a marina that is well protected, near the entrance of the Tinto river. The approach to the port is easy and very safe. Close there are important salt marshes where a great amount of birds migrate. The town of Mazagón that is 10 minutes walking far, has passed from being only a coastal summer center to be an important population. An extensive strip of almost 13 kilometers of golden sand is one of the most virgin beaches of the coast. |

The marina, with its charming facilities, is located on the northwest border of the Guadalete River. It offers possibilities to receive visitors, and it is well worth the trouble to spend a night in this port in which the entrance is easy with a good chart. In the Port of Santa Maria you will find a beautiful city with good restaurants and several sherry "bodegas". |
