Why register your website?

The marinamap.com website is providing comprehensive multilingual information about marinas and other maritime services worldwide. The basic idea is searching by geographic position: The user clicks on the marinamap map system and receives a result list of marinas and maritime services nearby -- sorted by the geographic distance to the mouse click. (-> see map system...)
If your website is registered in the marinamap database it thus can be found with a few mouse clicks - although the user might never have heard of the name of your company or the place where it is located. Only the geographic coordinates are necessary!

After that your website will be taken into the catalog (if the appropriate category exists). This also increases the link popularity of your website so that search engines (like Google) will rank your page higher in search results. (-> see catalog...)
