The Solent is at the centre of UK yachting, and Camper & Nicholsons has been there since 1782. Gosport Marina has been substantially re-built since 2000 with new pontoons, car parks and service buildings. The marina is located just inside the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour, offering yachtsmen very rapid access to and from the Solent at all states of the tide and in all weathers. |

Swanwick Marina |
|
Swanwick Marina is situated on the river Hamble, Britain's most popular yachting river, and focus of the South Coast yachting scene. Its rural setting and sheltered location just below Bursledon Bridge make it a favourite marina for both locals and visiting yachtsmen. The marina can accommodate up to 360 yachts with storage facilities ashore for a further 300 vessels; boats up to 65ft length overall can be accommodated on the finger pontoons, and there are a few additional berths for boats up to 120ft. |
