Modern city harbour
Huge harbour for all kinds of boats, more than half a mile long. Places for small yachts can be found at the very back (eastern) part of the harbour. Mooring piles with a handy hook on top to quickly fix the rope. Payment based on the size of he mooring place (12 - 40 EUR per night). Harbour master office in the grey building to the left side of Fischerei- und Hafenmuseum (first floor, blue steel stairs from the outside of the building), opening hours 8AM - 9AM, 6PM - 8PM. Toilets and showers right next to the office, very modern and well equipped. You can use "Alte Werkstatt" shop in the western part of the harbour for your immediate shopping needs, but there is a Rewe supermarket 10 minutes walk (accessible via the sky bridge) - much better option to replenish your supplies.
