Outer harbour for bigger boats
This harbour in Långvik is situated in the north-east part of the Koudden peninsula, next to the ferry harbour. Mooring on lazy lines, bow to the pier. The depth of 4,5 meters on the outer side of the pier allows for quite big boats. Although the harbour is promoted on the Möja island website as fully equipped and you can see the poles with water outlets and electric sockets on the pier, they are not operational - there is a trial going on between the marina and some local citizen and till the issue is solved, all operation of the marina is stopped. There is not even a toilet. The grocery store, which is situated about 50 meters away, is operational, however it is fully automatic (no staff) and only allows entrance through a QR code generated by a Swedish bank account, so it is not intended for foreigners. In fact, the only advantage of this harbour is that it is totally free of charge. Jeppe's Café (about 200 meters) rents bikes which can take you to Berg, the main settlement on Möja island (cca 5 km one way) with grocery store, fish store, restaurant, bakery etc. If you want to take a shower, you can go to the Långvik inner harbour (8-minute walk) - payment of 20 SEK is made by QR code. Drinking water is available there, too, for a fee, but in limited amount (20 litres). Hot tip: If your boat is small enough, choose the inner side of the harbour pier, which is much calmer. The swell hits hard on the outer side and it can make your sleeping difficult.
